Mrs. Anna Sanchez

Palo Alto Elementary Counselor

My name is Mrs. Sanchez, and I am honored to begin my sixth year at Palo Alto Elementary. I
bring 20 years of experience in education within the South San Antonio Independent School
District, where I have had the privilege of working with students at both the elementary and
secondary levels. These experiences have allowed me to develop a strong commitment to
supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students.
I earned my degrees from Our Lady of the Lake University and Webster University, which have
provided me with a solid foundation in education and counseling. Throughout my career, I have
remained dedicated to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where
every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.
I strongly believe that collaboration between school and home is essential for student success. I
welcome and encourage open communication with parents and guardians and am always
available to meet to discuss student concerns, address individual needs, coordinate appropriate
resources, and provide guidance and support for students and their families.
It is a privilege to serve the Palo Alto Elementary community, and I look forward to working
together to ensure a successful and rewarding school year for all students.
