Principal Millicent Marcha

I am honored to serve as the Principal of Palo Alto Elementary, where every decision we make is rooted in what’s best for our students. With over 30 years of experience in both public and private education, my career has taken me from the science classroom to district leadership—but my passion has always remained the same: ensuring all students have access to an excellent, equitable education.

I hold advanced degrees in School Leadership and Interdisciplinary Science, along with certifications in Biology, Composite Science, Principal (EC–12), and Superintendent (EC–12). Throughout my career, I’ve led work in curriculum development, academic intervention, and instructional coaching—always with a focus on student growth, engagement, and success.

At Palo Alto, I believe in fostering a nurturing and academically challenging environment where students feel seen, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. I’m committed to working alongside our talented staff and families to provide the best possible learning experiences for every child, every day.

Education is not just my career—it’s my calling. I am proud to lead a school community that puts students first in everything we do.
